A quarter of the island is flat and mostly you will find coconut plantations and rice paddies.

Going to the center of the island you will find a hilly landscape grown with wild forest and gardens with fruits like Durian, Rambutan, Langsat and Mangosten.
The population of Ko Samui is mostly concentrated in the port town Na Thon, on the western side of the island facing the mainland, and 10 or 11 small villages around the island.

The island has had a somewhat legendary status among Asian travelers for the past 20 years, so you can find everything like first class bars and discos and restaurants, but also lonely dream beaches with white sand and palms in the background, amazing coral reefs and waterfalls.

The best time to visit the island is from end of December to March. From July to October it can be raining on and off, and from early September to middle of December is the rainy season.

Ko Samui is a paradise and you can make a lot of beautiful trips, such as sailing into An Thong National park.

There is no accommodation in the park and it is not allowed to camp there. So anchoring between the beautiful islands with the silence of nature around is the only way to stay overnight.

From there we can sail to Ko Tao. The sea around this island is well known for crystal clear water and excellent diving sites.

You find beautiful coral reefs and underwater life where fish eat out of your hand. For scuba - diving, Ko Tao provides a wide range of opportunities. At certain times of the year you can even watch shark whales.

On the way back from Ko Tao, with its clear waters, you pass Ko Pangan. There are beautiful bays with sandy beaches where you can stay overnight after a sailing day, having barbecue and campfire on a empty beach.

For guests who want to have more action at night, we recommand Had Rin Beach. Loud music and plenty of bars, open up to four o'clock in the morning. At full moon, it is there where the famous full-moon-party takes place. Many tourists from Ko Samui join that event to celebrate.

Another stop will be a beautiful waterfall with a small beach. Here you can take a cool swim, or you can climb up the waterfall (not too difficult ), follow the river into the jungle, bathing in the natural pools with a beautiful view down to the boat on the sea.

From Ko Pangan you can sail to Ko Samui and have lunch at Hin Yai and Hin Ta, those very popular male and female rocks (It's really an unbelievable site created by nature!), which is a must for every Samui visitor.
Back to Chaweng Beach you have the choice of well-developed beach, restaurants for everybody's taste as well as discotheques and beer-bars.

Ko Samui is available only for charters with a minimum of 10 days.
