Round Trip Ko Chang - Sihanouk Ville

Additional Information

Our guests can board the yacht at 5 pm on the evening before the 1st day and get familiar with the boat. They have the choice to sleep on board or take a room at Salak Phed resort, our base (not included).

1. Day
At 6 am we are leaving Ko Chang heading direct to Ko Tang, off the coast of Cambodia, a 100 nautical miles away. During this sailing day all meals will be taken on board. We should reach Ko Tang at about 9 pm.

2. Day
Ko Tang is located 29 nautical miles off the Cambodian coast. It's uninhabited There is only a small military sentry on it. The waters around are 40 m deep and crystal clear with a great variety of marine live. We can spend the day sailing , relaxing , snorkeling , exploring the pristine beaches and the nature of this island. In the evening we make a campfire on the beach with barbecue for dinner.

3. Day
On the 3rd day we will leave Ko Tang 9 am and sail to Sihanouk Ville, where we will arrive at 2 pm. First we have to clear customs and immigration. This needs about 2 hours. This time our guest can spend on the nearby beach, in a restaurant or go shopping to Kampongson ( The Cambodian name of Sihanouk Ville ) with a motorbike-taxi. In the late afternoon we sail to the small islands in the mouth of the bay, and anchor for the night close to a silent beach or we go to one of the beaches of the mainland where are some restaurants and bars with entertainment.

4. Day
In the morning we set sails heading to Ko Samit , an interesting village founded by Thai Trawlers fishing in Cambodian water. On the way we pass Ko Rong where we stop and visit another small fishing village. At 3 pm we arrive on Ko Samit's pier. There is time to see the village and the sea-gipsies over there. The night we spend anchoring off the island.

5. Day
The 5th day is a sailing day to Ko Kut the second biggest island in the Ko Chang archipelago. We arrive at 4 pm in the bay Ban Bao. There is a beach and a resort where we can eat dinner in the restaurant.
 

 

6. Day
At 9 am we lift the anchor heading to Klong Chao one hour north. We board the dinghy for a ride threw the mangrove forest of the river there. After 20 minutes we reach a small pier, where a path threw the jungle starts and 15 minutes later we arrive at a scenic waterfall with a pool for a refreshing bath.
Back on the boat we sail to Ko Maak for the night. In the cozy restaurant on the beach we can spend our evening and have the dinner.

7. Day
After breakfast we will sail to Ko Rang and stop there for an hour to snorkel at the reef with its colorful fishes. From there to Ko Wai it takes about 2 hours. Lunch we can either take on the boat or in the restaurant on the beach. There will be time to relaxe on the beach, sit in the shade of the restaurant enjoying a cold drink or for more active guest swim or snorkel at the reef in front of this beautiful beach. From 3 pm to 5 pm we sail back to Ko Chang and unfortunately the trip ends now at Salak Phet .
The guests have to leave their passports with us for clearance the next working day. They will be returned to them at their hotel the day after arrival. The guests should have a copy of their passports to check into the hotel
